The Boston College women’s basketball team went 1-1 this week, defeating Bryant 83-46 on Thursday before falling to Minnesota 77-69 this afternoon. The Eagles now have 8 wins this season, more than they had the entirety of last year.
The Eagles dominated across the board on Thursday night, grabbing 47 rebounds to Bryant’s 37, 18 steals to Bryant’s 9, and forcing 27 Bulldog turnovers. BC led for the entire game after scoring 17 seconds into the first quarter. Taylor Ortlepp and Milan Bolden-Morris led BC on offense with 15 points each, and Ortlepp also led all players with 6 steals.
