The Boston College women’s basketball team improved to 4-0 at home and 4-2 overall with a strong 87-52 victory over the VCU Rams today. The Eagles looked super solid as a team in today’s win, with 5 players scoring in the double digits and the whole team out-rebounding VCU 39-29.
Taylor Soule scored the first basket of the game just 30 seconds in, and the Eagles kept going from there. BC heavily outscored VCU in every quarter: 23-10 in the first, 22-13 in the second, 21-16 in the third, and 21-13 in the fourth. This type of consistency was good to see from the Eagles, as they have had some problems slowing down later in the game in the past.
