The Boston College women’s basketball team earned their first ACC win of the season tonight, defeating Notre Dame in a thrilling comeback with a 64-61 victory.
The Eagles were outplayed for much of tonight’s game, with Notre Dame holding the lead for 87.9% percent of the matchup, including leading by 14 points with just 5:33 to go in the game. But this BC team never gives up, and they fought back in the final five minutes.
The Eagles comeback started in earnest with a pair of 3s from Marnelle Garraud and another 3 from Makayla Dickens that combined to get the Eagles within 1.
