This evening, Dontavia Waggoner announced that she will be transferring to Boston College. Waggoner just concluded her freshman season with ACC leaders NC State. The 6’0 guard was a 4 star recruit, but didn’t see much playing time for the Wolfpack, averaging just 7.1 minutes, 2.1 points, and 1.1 rebounds this past season.
Waggoner had a career high 12 points against Coastal Carolina with the Wolfpack, and led all freshman in her debut game for NC State with 7 points.
Prior to college, Waggoner was on the 2020 Jersey Mike’s Naismith Girls High School Trophy Watch List and was 2019 Ms.
