Joanna Bernabei-McNamee’s first signing class for Boston College women’s basketball has 2 new members: Jaelyn Batts and Akunna Konkwo. Batts and Konkwo, who signed NLIs today, will join the class of 2023 on The Heights next fall.
Batts, a 6 foot forward from South Riding, Virginia, verbally committed to BC in August. She averaged 18 points per game and scored her 1,000 career point last season as a junior. Batts was a Virginia All-State first team pick as both a sophomore and a junior in addition to being a “Player of the Conference”. Last season she was also an All-NOVA junior girls team honoree.
