MADEIRA BEACH, Fla. – two-run triple in the top of the seventh inning powered the Boston College softball team to a 9-6 win over the Tennessee-Chattanooga Mocs on Sunday morning in the Madeira Beach Invitational.
The Eagles bump to 5-10 with the win while Chattanooga moves to 14-3.
BC went up 3-0 in the top of the second, with , and crossing the plate. The Mocs would rack up the next four runs, pulling one back in the bottom half of the second before putting together a three-run home half of the third for a 4-3 lead.
