CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Boston College women's basketball team will face Maine in the opening round of the 24th annual Women's National Invitational Tournament on Thursday at 7 p.m. in Conte Forum.
BC earns a postseason bid for the 11th time in program history, while it's the first postseason appearance since 2010-11 when the Eagles earned a WNIT berth.
The Eagles are coming 19-11 and finished 10-8 in the ACC. Boston College is 4-2 over its last six games going into the tournament.
BC is 6-3 in three WNIT appearances, including a 4-1 mark at Conte Forum.
