CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College women's hockey team has been selected to compete in the 2019 NCAA Women's Hockey Tournament, it was announced by the selection committee on Sunday night. This is the ninth consecutive NCAA tournament for the Eagles and the program's 11th overall.
The fifth-seeded Eagles received an at-large bid after finishing as the runner-up in the Hockey East tournament earlier today, and will now be looking to knock off the two-time defending national champion in Clarkson. Clarkson earned the four-seed by way of winning its third consecutive ECAC Hockey Tournament title today with a 4-1 win over Cornell.
