BRIGHTON, Mass. – The Boston College baseball team suffered a third straight loss to No. 18 Louisville, 15-1, at the Harrington Athletics Village on Sunday afternoon.
Lefty Riley Phillips (3-0) allowed just three hits in seven-shutout innings. He struck out seven and walked just two.
The Cardinals (19-5, 6-0 ACC) led 4-0 after three and were kept off the board for each of the next four innings before exploding for nine runs on just five hits in the top of the eighth. Left fielder Cameron Masterman supplied the big blow; a three-run home run.
