This week it was announced that Vaughn Williams, the senior associate athletics director at Boston College, will be leaving the Heights to take over as Athletic Director at Bentley University. This is the second big departure from the athletic department in recent months, following AD Martin Jarmond’s move to UCLA.
Williams played football at UMass and graduated in 1992. He came to BC in 1998, working as the Assistant Athletic Director for Operations and Facilities until 2004. Williams returned to BC in 2017. In the interim, he served as athletic director at Kennesaw State University for 6 years.
