CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – For the first time since 2008, Boston College has returned to the Amway Coaches Top 25 released on Sunday at No. 25. The Eagles (3-0) defeated Wake Forest 41-34 to open ACC play last Thursday in Winston-Salem. BC has scored 40+ points in the first three games of the season for the first time in school history.
The last time Boston College was ranked in the coaches poll was Nov. 30, 2008 when the Eagles were ranked 20th nationally.
Winners of eight of their last 10 games, the Eagles rank in the top 20 of 18 different statistical categories released by the NCAA.
