Boston College gained its first lead of the game with 47 seconds left in the first quarter on an eight-yard run by running back David Bailey. It was his first of two scores as he added a one-yard run on the first drive of the third quarter. Bailey finished the game with 10 carries for 53 yards before exiting with an injury in the second half.
