The Boston College softball team has found their new head coach, as Amy Kvilhaug was announced as the fifth head coach in program history earlier on Tuesday. The Eagles had a difficult season in 2018-19, going just 18-35 overall and 4-20 in ACC play, after which Ashley Obrest resigned from the head coaching role.
Kvilhaug joins the Eagles after spending the last 12 seasons as the head coach of St. John’s. During her time there, St. John’s reached seven Big East Tournaments and made their first in the NCAA Tournament in more than three decades in 2015.
