After starting the season 2-0, Boston College men’s soccer lost its second consecutive game to the Xavier Musketeers to fall to 2-2 on the season. The Eagles struck first in the 16th minute with a Simon Enstrom goal (his 3rd of the season) off of a Joshua Forbes center. Ten minutes later, Enstrom scored his fourth goal of the season which was built up from a long throw in, a centered head in my Tomas Gudmundsson, and finished nicely with an angled header.
In the 39th minute, Xavier was able to cut the deficit in half after sophomore goalkeeper Jack Bacon was able to save two successive Musketeer shots, but was unable to corral them.
