The Eagles opened the 2024-25 hockey season tonight with the first of a pair of away games at Michigan State University. BC played a terrific game, and starts the season with a 3-0 victory.

The teams had an evenly matched first period, with neither team scoring in the first 20 minutes of play. BC’s best chance came from Ryan Leonard, but the Eagles saw good efforts from a number of players, including freshman Dean Letourneau. Goalie Jacob Fowler, of course, had a strong first period as well.

The Eags went up 1-0 early in the second, as Will Vote, who missed much of last season with an injury, made a triumphant return to play with a tip-in goal.
