After defeating Hockey East rivals Northeastern last night, the Eagles headed down the road to Waltham to take on the Bentley Falcons. The Eagles were without Casey Carreau, who was suspended for 2 games by Hockey East after a slew footing penalty last night.
Bentley started out with a lot of hustle, and got a number of good chances in the first, including one when Wilder left the net wide open. The Falcons managed to convert with just under 7 minutes to go in the first period to take a 1-0 lead. The Eagles almost scored as the clock wound down, but the buzzer rang before the puck hit the net.
