The 2018-2019 Boston College Men’s Hockey season has been a slog, but the Eagles had an opportunity to win a trophy Monday night in the Beanpot Championship. But despite a strong effort through most of the game, the Eagles couldn’t find goals when they needed to, and Northeastern tallied goals at crucial moments to put the game out of reach.
In the end, it was a 4-2 loss at the TD Garden, giving Northeastern their second Beanpot in as many years and putting making it look that much more likely that the 2018-2019 season will end without any men’s hockey hardware on the Heights.
