Boston College men’s hockey has come to an end for the season, with BC losing 3-1 to Denver in the regionals this evening.
The Eagles thought they scored early right before Denver knocked the net off, but the refs called no goal. Denver went on to take a 2-0 lead, which held until late in the second. The Eagles struggled to score on Denver and at times looked like they were reliving last year’s loss to the Pioneers and getting in their own heads.
BC finally broke through late in the second period on a Will Vote to Teddy Stiga goal, but BC wasn’t able to get past the goalie again and an empty net goal for Denver gave them a 3-1 final victory to end BC’s season.
