The Boston College men’s hockey team put on an impressive performance against a solid University of New Brunswick team, defeating the Varsity Reds by a score of 8-1 in tonight’s exhibition game. The Eagles played with confidence and cohesion, and look to be a good balance of strength, speed, and size this year.
The Eagles got things started early, as Ron Greco set up Graham McPhee for a great goal just 18 second into the game. A minute later, freshman superstar Oliver Wahlstrom picked up his first goal as an Eagle to give BC an early 2-0 lead.
