Well that was a lot of fun.
The Boston College men’s hockey team knocked of rival Boston University on Saturday night 4-3. BC had four separate leads over the course of the night, but it was Julius Mattila’s late third period goal that stood up as the difference on the night.
Logan Hustko opened the scoring for BC nine minutes into the game with a breakaway goal. Hutsko took a great pass from Julius Mattila and muscled the lone BU defender away to put him in alone. He made a nice move to put the puck on his backhand before sliding it through Sam Tucker’s five-hole to give BC a 1-0 lead.
