Boston College Men’s Basketball Loses Tough Game to Wake Forest, 72-66

Boston College men’s basketball looked to end a two-game losing streak with a win against Wake Forest on Saturday. Unfortunately, the Eagles were outplayed for most of the game and lost 72-66.

BC got off to a strong start, taking a 9-4 lead in the first few minutes, thanks to threes by Elijah Strong, Dion Brown, and Donald Hand. After Brown scored on a wide-open layup off an inbounds play, the Demon Deacons called a timeout with BC leading 13-5 and 16:20 left in the opening half.

Wake battled back to make it 15-12 with just over 13 minutes remaining, but neither team could find much consistency midway through the first half.
