Sophomore forward Mike Sagay announced on twitter yesterday that he will transfer from Boston College. Sagay appeared in 15 games with the Eagles last season, averaging 2 PPG and .9 rebounds in 4.5 minutes per game. This is the second player the team has lost to transfer this offseason, with junior AJ Turner headed to Northwestern.
Though Sagay did not name a transfer destination, he is likely hoping to land on a team where he can see more minutes. BC added 6’8” freshman Steffon Mitchell and highly regarded graduate transfer Deontae Hawkins at the forward position this offseason.
