The Boston College men’s basketball team lost to the St. Louis Billikens today by a score of 64-54 in what was a sloppy game for both teams.
BC took an early lead, going up 12-3 quickly in the first half, but St. Louis took over the game from there.
The Eagles were particularly plagued by turnovers, passing the ball directly to opposing players on multiple occasions, and by free throw shooting, going just 8 for 13 from behind the line in the first half. BC was also out-rebounded by St. Louis 49-37.
Derryck Thornton and Nik Popovic were the bright spots for BC, with 18 points/7 rebounds and 15 points/8 rebounds respectively.
