In 2023-24, Venning led his team in scoring and was 2nd in rebounding for a Bonnies squad that went 20-13 and made its way to the third round of the A-10 tournament. He was an instrumental force in the paint, leading the entire A-10 in two-point field goal attempts as the Bonnies finished 2nd in the conference in adjusted offensive rating.
