Yesterday the Boston College women’s lacrosse team improved to 5-0 with a 22-12 victory over Brown. Sam Apuzzo, Kaileen Hart, and Dempsey Arsenault each scored 5 goals in the game. With her 5 goals, Hart joined the 100 point club and is now the 25th Eagle in program history to reach that milestone. Meanwhile, Apuzzo currently leads the NCAA with 16 goals so far this season.
The Eagles took an early 2-0 lead in the game with goals from Cara Urbank and Apuzzo, but Brown went on to score 5 unanswered goals to take a 5-2 lead. Hart and Apuzzo scored halfway through the period to get BC within 1, but Brown picked up another goal 3 minutes later to take a 6-4 lead.
