Boston College defensive coordinator Don Brown had a fantastic year steering Boston College to the best defense in the country. Today, he deservedly was rewarded for his work, named the American Football Coaches Association's Assistant Coach Of The Year. What did Brown do, according to the press release he:
Brown completed his 34th year of collegiate coaching - his 19th as a defensive coordinator - and has been at The Heights for the last three years. He led the BC defense to the no. 1 spot in the nation for total defense, allowing just 254.
