The Boston College Field Hockey team shutout the University of New Hampshire on today, earning a 2-0 win on the road at Memorial Field. The Eagles are now 10-5 on the season, and this win is BC’s sixth straight of the season - the most since 2014.
Goalie Sarah Dwyer made six saves in the shutout, and played all 60 minutes in goal. Sophomore Nell Webber opened the scoring off a pass from junior Elizabeth Warner 7:59 into the game. For the next thirty minutes, the game remained scoreless until freshman Margo Carlin drew a penalty corner, when sophomore Sky Caron scored to double the lead.
