Team USA is now 2-0 in 2017 Four Nations Cup play after defeating Canada by a score of 4-2 tonight. The Americans now lead Canada 2-1 in pre-2018 Olympics play. As usual, current and former Boston College players had a huge role in tonight’s victory. Much like in last night’s win over Finland, Eagles scored half of Team USA’s goals tonight.
Cayla Barnes, the BC sort-of-freshman, struck first, scoring her second goal of the tournament. Barnes was playing with Boston College for the first month of the season, and joined Team USA just in time for this tournament.
