On Thursday afternoon, reports surfaced that Boston College guard Dion Brown has entered the transfer portal.
Brown, a native of Great Barrington, MA, transferred into BC after a successful stint with the UMBC Retrievers. Two seasons ago, Brown averaged 19.0 points, 7.6 boards and 2.6 assists for UMBC. At BC this past season, Brown started 29 of 31 games while averaging 7.5 points, 3.9 boards, and 1.5 assists per game. He had some memorable moments with the Eagles last season, with his 20-point outburst in the Dean Dome against UNC probably at the top of the list.
Brown is the third Eagle to enter the portal this offseason, following Elijah Strong and Joshua Beadle.
