The Utah Jazz drafted Olivier Hanlan on Thursday night with the 42nd overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft. He becomes the sixth Boston College Eagle drafted in the 21st century and the first since Reggie Jackson was picked 24th overall by Oklahoma City in the 2011 draft.
Hanlan, a junior out of Aylmer, Quebec, averaged no less than 15 points over his three years with BC, scoring an ACC-high 19.5 points last season. The next closest league scorer, Duke's Jahlil Okafor, scored nearly two full points less per game. Okafor, a center for the national champion Blue Devils, was picked third overall by Philadelphia.
