The Boston College Eagles completed a regular season to forget Saturday with an 66-50 loss to Clemson.
With the loss, the Eagles finished winless in the conference. Coupled with a winless conference slate by the football team, Boston College has become the first major program to go winless in conference play in both football and men's basketball since World War II.
Jerome Robinson led the way for the Eagles with 18 points, but partially due to an eight-plus minute scoring drought in the second half, and a 2-for-11 performance by leading scorer Eli Carter, the Eagles were not competitive through much of the game.
