In a charity event for hurricane victims, the BC men’s basketball team was able to take down Bryant University, 87-59, for its first win of the year.
Sophomore point guard Ky Bowman led the way with 26 points and six assists, Jordan Chatman had 13 points, Jerome Robinson had 11, and Nik Popovic had 10, while freshman Steffon Mitchell added nine points and eight rebounds.
Leading at the half 43-30, the Eagles connected on 8-16 from behind the arc to pace the offense. For the whole game, the Eagles D swarmed the Bulldogs for 22 turnovers leading to 26 points.
