On Monday, August 28th, Head Coach Mike Gambino introduced the newest members of the Boston College baseball team.
The class of 2021 contains six players from five states, and includes three pitchers and three position players. This a relatively small class compared to others that Gambino has brought in, but, as he put it, it's better to find the right players, as opposed to the most players.
"At a time when recruiting classes are judged on size, we are concerned with the quality of student-athletes in our class," he told BCEagles.com. "For us, it's about the right number of players and the right kind of individual who fits our program.
