The Eagles are the victors in this year’s B1G/ACC Cup, defeating #9 Maryland 3-2 on Friday and #4 Northwestern 2-1 this afternoon. The Eagles are currently undefeated.
Milagros Arteta started the scoring off early against Maryland, scoring just under 5 minutes into the game to give BC a 1-0 lead. Maryland tied things up just about a minute later off a penalty corner, but 6 minutes after that Sarah Johnson rebounded Fusine Govaert’s shot into the net.
