CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. — Boston College and head women's lacrosse coach Acacia Walker-Weinstein have agreed to a five-year contract extension through the 2027 season.
In her 10 seasons at the helm of the Eagles, Walker-Weinstein has firmly planted the Boston College flag among the top women's lacrosse programs in the nation. This past season, BC made its fifth consecutive appearance in the NCAA Championship final, falling by one goal in the title game. In 2021, the Eagles captured the National Championship, downing Syracuse, 16-10.
"We are thrilled to have Acacia continue to lead our women's lacrosse program," said JM Caparro, interim director of athletics and sport administrator for lacrosse.
