TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Boston College baseball team salvaged its series against No. 18 Florida State with a 5-3 win at Dick Howser Stadium on Sunday. Battling through two rain delays, the Eagles came ay with the win to move to 15-18 overall and 5-16 in the ACC, while the Seminoles fell to 18-14 and 13-11.
BC put two on the board in the third inning before FSU answered with a two-run home run from right fielder Robby Martin in the fourth. Junior center fielder Sal Frelick (Lexington, Mass.) doubled with two away and scored the go-ahead run in the fifth.
