AMESBURY, Mass. – Boston College forward Hannah Bilka has been named the Hockey East Player of the Week, as announced Monday by the league. The senior had a two-point outing in BC's season-opening win over Franklin Pierce on Saturday.
The Coppell, Texas native scored one goal and had an assist in BC's 4-1 win over the Ravens on Saturday afternoon at Kelley Rink.
Bilka assisted on the game-opening goal and then scored an insurance goal to make it a 3-1 midway through the third period. The captain added a game-high seven shots on goal and had a plus-two rating.
