CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College women's hockey freshman forward Maegan Beres earned Hockey East's Pro Ambitions Rookie of the Week honors from the conference on Monday. The Whistler, British Columbia, product led all conference freshman in scoring last week, posting four assists in the Eagles' three victories.
In Tuesday's 6-2 win over Harvard, Beres recorded her first-career multiple-point game with three assists, a career high. Her total included the set-up of Makenna Newkirk's game-winning goal.
On Friday in the Eagles' 2-1 overtime win over Vermont, Beres recorded an assist on Serena Sommerfield's game-winning goal in the added session.
