The Boston College Women's Lacrosse team's season came to an end this evening with a loss to Stony Brook in the NCAA Tournament.
BC got off to an early 2-0 lead with goals from Caroline Margolis and Kate Weeks. BC then allowed three straight goals, to give Stony Brook their first lead. BC regained their lead by scoring two goals in under 10 seconds, including Kate Weeks' second goal of the game. Stony Brook ended the first half by scoring another trio of unanswered goals and BC went into the half down 6-4.
Stony Brook extended their lead to 3 goals at the start of the second half, but Kate Weeks was quick to cut the lead with her third goal of the game.
