BC women's hockey's freshman class for next season just got a big boost.
Two-time USA U18 forward Caitrin Lonergan announced Thursday via Twitter that she has committed to the Eagles, joining the roster for the 2016-2017 season.
I am very excited and grateful to announce my commitment to play college hockey at Boston College. #GoEagles

Lonergan is another in a steady pipeline of players coming from the USA and Canada U18 national team ranks. At this point the Eagles have had at least one incoming freshman (and often more) with a national team pedigree for several years running now, solidifying Coach Crowley's and Coach Kennedy's reputation as two of the nation's premier recruiters.
