It wasn’t the prettiest win, but Boston College Women’s Hockey did what they needed to on Friday afternoon against the Holy Cross Crusaders. Despite trailing late in the second and being tied late in the third, the Eagles did just enough to come away with a 3-2 win at Conte Forum.
Boston College dominated the shots in the opening two periods, but as Coach Crowley pointed out in her post game press conference, the Eagles struggled to pick the corners and find the shots to beat Holy Cross goaltender Jada Brenon. With BC being held off the scoreboard, it was the Crusaders who tallied the first goal which came early in the second period.
