A loss at a ranked Northeastern team was frustrating. Getting swept by a mediocre Boston University team was awful. Only coming away from a weekend with Merrimack with a split was awful. But a loss after holding a third period lead to New Hampshire, one of the worst teams in Hockey East, might be a new low in this dreadful Boston College Women’s Hockey season.
Boston College held leads of 1-0 and 2-1 against the Wildcats before losing control of the game in the third period, eventually falling 3-2 in regulation, dropping to 13-8-0 overall and 1-5-0 in their last 6 games — one of their worst streaks in recent memory.
