CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College volleyball team erased an early deficit to defeat Duke, 3-2, at the Connell Recreation Center on Sunday afternoon in its ACC home opener. The win marked the program's first match at its new court inside the Connell Recreation Center and was played in front of a standing-room only crowd of 534 spectators.
The win propelled the Eagles to 12-3, matching the best start in program history, and evened their record at 1-1 in the ACC. Boston College won by set scores of 22-25, 25-12, 25-19, 21-25 and 15-12.
BC clinched the match on a kill from junior outside hitter Katrina Jensen (Temecula, Calif.
