DURHAM, N.H. – The No. 7/7 Boston College women's hockey team battled to a 3-3 overtime tie at the University of New Hampshire on Saturday afternoon at the Whittemore Center. Erin Connolly potted the game-tying goal midway through the third period to pull the Eagles even and help BC finish the regular season at 23-10-1 overall and 19-7-1 in Hockey East play. With the tie, BC secured the second overall seed in the Hockey East Tournament and will now host seventh-seeded UConn next weekend in a best-of-three quarterfinal series.
Just 49 seconds into the game, Lindsay Agnew potted her fourth short-handed goal of the season and then 15 minutes later, a Kali Flanagan power-play strike gave BC a 2-0 lead.
