Smithfield, R.I – Boston College beat Bryant University 3-1 on Saturday evening. The Eagles won by scores of 25-19, 27-25, and 25-20.
Junior outside hitter Katrina Jensen (Temecula, Calif) posted an impressive team-high 17 kills, which is a season high for her so far. Junior outside hitter Alayna Crabtree (Normal, Ill) was everywhere in this one, recording 16 kills of her own to go along with 13 digs and three aces. Crabtree's 16 kills is a season high for so far as well.
Junior setter Sophia Lambros (Fullerton, Calif) powered the Eagles offense dishing out a game-high and season-high 28 assists, coming up just short of her career high in assists at 30 while Junior setter Grace Penn (Manhattan Beach, Calif) tallied 20 assists of her own to go along with seven digs.
