KENNESAW, Ga. – The Boston College baseball team swept a doubleheader over Kennesaw State at Stillwell Baseball Stadium on Saturday by scores of 7-4 and 6-2. The Eagles ran their win streak to seven games, the longest in seven years, and improved to 7-1, while the Owls dropped to 5-4.
In the opener, BC jumped out to a three-run lead in the top of the first, which featured a RBI-triple by junior right fielder Travis Honeyman (Massapequa, N.Y.). The Owls jumped back in the game in the third, taking advantage of three free passes, and tied the game.
