BC Pushes No. 5 NC State to the Brink in Setback

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Boston College women's basketball team pushed No. 5 North Carolina State to the brink, but fell in overtime on Thursday evening in Conte Forum, 85-78.

Boston College falls to 15-9 overall and 6-7 in the ACC, while the Wolfpack improves to 22-3 and 13-1 in the league.

Cameron Swartz scored a game-high 24 points on 10-of-19 shooting and four 3-pointers. The senior did her damage in the first half with 18 points, while she grabbed six rebounds. Taylor Soule recorded her second double-double of the season with 16 points (11 in the second half) and tied a season-high with 10 rebounds.
