BRIGHTON, Mass. – The Boston College baseball team came from three runs down only to fall in extras to No. 18 Louisville, 10-6, at the Harrington Athletics Village on Saturday afternoon. The first three Cardinals reached in the top of the 11th as left fielder Cameron Masterman delivered the go-ahead run with a base hit through the right side.
Junior second baseman Luke Gold (Ballston, N.Y.) hit a game-tying, two-run home run to cap the Boston College (9-13, 1-7 ACC) seventh. The Louisville (18-5, 5-0) responded by setting down 10 consecutive Eagles to get the Cardinals to the plate in the 11th.
