BC Interruption’s 2021 Female Player of the Year is Charlotte North

Wrapping up this year’s BCI awards, last but certainly not the least — BCI’s Female Player of the Year is, unanimously, Boston College Women’s Lacrosse’s Charlotte North.

Charlotte North had an incredible season this year, and it’s hard to even put into words the impact she had on college lacrosse. Playing in her first full season since transferring to BC in 2019, North scored 102 goals in 21 games — breaking the NCAA single season scoring record by two goals. She had multi-goal games in all but three games this season. She set a record for goals in a single NCAA tournament with 31, and was a major factor in BC’s National Championship win where she scored six goals in the title game against Syracuse.
