The Boston College men’s hockey team came away from this weekend with 1 great win and 1 really rough loss. Captain Marc McLaughlin is our Player of the Week thanks to his 3 goal weekend, despite the emotional rollercoaster that Eagles fans went on with this team.
On Friday, McLaughlin was a huge factor in BC’s 5-3 victory over Northeastern, which was also his 100th game as an Eagle. McLaughlin’s first goal came on the power play off of a Jack McBain pass, and tied the game at 2 after BC had gone down 2-1. With 58 second remaining in the game, he also scored an empty netter to really secure BC’s victory.
